It is so sad to hear of our Queen’s death yesterday. For so many of us there are many memories as we watched her carry out her royal duties with both style and grace. She has been our rock as a nation for most people’s entire lives, mine included.
Many of the older generation of course remember her early years when she served in the war training as a mechanic and driving military vehicles along side her peers. I am sure many of us will shed a tear as we watch the news articles going back through her busy life. It was lovely that her and Prince Philip shared many happy years together.
Let us all take something from her life of serving her people, even if it is only to care about the people around us and to support them in their needs.
