I will issue an agreement that must be read and signed before I commence visits (or on your first paid visit).
After the agreement is signed, either party can terminate the agreement giving 1 weeks’ notice (unless in an emergency when this is not possible).
I will respect your confidentiality, and protect your identity at all times.
I will have the right to decline requests for carrying out any activity that lies outside our agreement. However, if you feel you need additional services these can be discussed at one of my visits by making a formal request.
I cannot guarantee to visit if weather conditions are severe. In the event of such exceptional circumstances, I will inform you at the earliest opportunity and rearrange your visit as soon as possible.
If I am concerned about your welfare or safety, I will always discuss any concerns with you and agree a plan of action. As I have a safeguarding duty for your welfare this may involve contacting social services for support.
If I feel there is a medical emergency, I will contact the appropriate services for help.
Payment will be made at the end of the visit by cash or cheque – or by prior arrangement via bank transfer.
For personal safety reasons, my whereabouts will be shared with my next of kin.
